"I've recently had a bad experience with this agency. My wife was in an accident in June, and mid-December we shopped around quotes. State Farm gave us an excellent quote to bundle our auto & renter's, so we stopped looking for other quotes. Now at the end of December, I get a surprise bill in the mail with a total premium $500 more expensive than the quote. After begging for someone to call me back, Mark tasked his assistant with reaching out. The way they phrased the situation was that they claim no responsibility and it's all the "system's" fault for not predicting the rate increase once detecting the accident on her record. I gave a warning well in advance of the accident, and they gave me zero warning or transparency that the bill wouldn't reflect the quote. Transparently, if they would have just said "our bad" and gave me a $5 gift card to an arcade I would have moved on. Transparently, if they came to us with this new rate right away, I probably would have never blinked an eye. I simply would have had some time to shop rates and make a well-educated decision. Transparently, once the rate increased the very next day I would have been understanding if they reached out with a warning. However, now it is NYE and the last thing I want to do is speak to seven insurance agents to make sure we don't lapse in coverage. Mark's agency does not stand behind their word OR take responsibility for putting their customer's in tough situations. If the owner of the business leaves a counter-reply to this message stating anything I just said above is false, I have the entire conversation in writing and would not hesitate to share. Two stars only because I feel bad the executive assistant had to hear my frustrations rather than the man with his name on the building."

"I left my previous state farm rep due to being told false and conflicting information all the time. I'm sad to say this office is no different. They had a thr primary driver for my car listed as a family member who hasn't lived with me since I have had my car and has never touched it. Overbill me all the time. I would not recommend state farm overall let alone either Batavia office."
